PMI is currently hiring for the following positions;
4th Year Apprentice Electrician, Plumbing/ Gasfitter, Carpenters
Skilled Carpenters & Labors
Journeyman or Red Seal Carpenters
Master, Journeyman or Red Seal Electricians
Journeyman or Red Seal Plumber & Gasfitters
Being well-organized, courteous, and reliable
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer focus
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Effective time management and detail oriented
Self-motivated and able to work with deadlines
Other job-related tasks as assigned.
As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.
Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or have Landed Immigrant status.
Applicant must be 17 years of age or older.
Applicant must be Physically Fit to do construction work and complete your daily duties:
Capable of working in remote locations – 10 – 12-hour days, shift work – 3 weeks on/1 week off. You will be housed in dry camps.
Must be capable of completing an industry related physical fitness test.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs throughout your day.
Capable of repetitive motions, bending, and/or kneeling for long periods of time throughout your day.
Capable of working outside, all day, in extreme weather conditions – from winter temperatures of -40c to summer temperatures of 20c+.
Must be able to pass a standard Drug and Alcohol Test.
